Aengus was known as the God of Love. There's a story that he lived in Newgrange and fell in love with a woman he saw in a dream. All of Ireland was searched looking for her, and finally she was found, but she would turn into a swan. So Aengus turned into a swan too, and they were in love. He's a patron of young lovers who look to him to help them overcome their obstacles.
